Yesterday morning, one of the houses in our neighborhood was broken into. The perpetrators were two 19 yr/old females. We know this because one of the neighbors heard glass breaking, saw a strange car parked outside, then called the cops. The cops arrived just the perps were leaving with electronics and jewelry from the house and were promptly arrested.

Kudos to the Atlanta Police Department for their quick response. They got arrived in time to catch the criminals. The fact that they were called emphasizes the importance of having good, vigilant neighbors looking out for others in the community.

After being apprehended, the perps pleaded with the police to let them go. They were just doing it to “feed their children.” However, along with the stolen items, the officers on the scene found in their possession a loaded weapon. Money for ammo, but none for food? Yeah, you’ve got my sympathy.
