The winter this year in Atlanta has just been horrible.  We’ve had something like 13 straight weeks of precipitation on the weekends. Sonali and I were getting tired of sitting in our house and decided to head out to Gatlinburg, TN for Valentine’s Day weekend.

It was one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. It snowed the entire time we were there and all the scenes looked like something you’d see on Discovery Channel.  There’s something indescribably romantic and serene about walking alone in the woods with nothing but the sounds of a gentle brook, your footsteps crunching through the snow, and the sight of gently falling snow.
